We dispatch live Calci Worms and Flytiliser from our farm in Yoxall, Staffordshire. Here’s how delivery works, what to expect, and what to do if something isn’t right.

Dispatch & delivery times
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed Monday to Thursday are packed and dispatched the same week from our farm in Yoxall, Staffordshire. Orders placed Friday to Sunday are dispatched the following Monday or Tuesday.
You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched, including any tracking information if applicable.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery takes 1–2 business days after dispatch across most mainland UK addresses. We use a tracked 24/48-hour courier service to ensure your order arrives quickly — this is especially important for live Calci Worms.
Do you deliver to all UK addresses?
We deliver to all mainland UK addresses. For remote areas including the Scottish Highlands, Scottish islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, delivery times may be longer and additional charges may apply.

What is the delivery charge?
Free delivery on all orders over £20. For orders under £20, a standard delivery charge applies — the exact amount is calculated at checkout before you complete your order.
Subscription orders include free delivery regardless of order size.
Delivery of live Calci Worms
Live Calci Worms need care in transit. We pack them in ventilated containers with appropriate substrate to keep them active. Here’s what you need to know.
How are live Calci Worms packaged?
Your Calci Worms arrive in our easy-pour ventilated Bag, packed with a small amount of substrate. The bag is designed to maintain airflow during transit while keeping the larvae contained. Do not seal the bag airtight when storing at home.
What if my Calci Worms arrive inactive?
Larvae can go into a temporary torpor during cold transit — this is normal and does not mean they are dead. If your worms arrive sluggish or still:
- Move them to a warmer spot (15–20°C) for 15–20 minutes
- Most will revive and become active quickly once warm
- Avoid placing them in direct sunlight or temperatures above 30°C
If a significant proportion have arrived dead after warming, email us at hello@syntects.co.uk with your order number and a photo. We will replace or refund.
How long do they stay alive after delivery?
Stored correctly, your Calci Worms will remain lively for 7–10 days after arrival. Keep them cool (10–15°C), ventilated and out of direct sunlight. A garage, shed or cool kitchen shelf is ideal. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Returns & problems with your order
Can I return live Calci Worms?
Due to the nature of live animals, we are unable to accept returns of live Calci Worms. However, if there is a problem with your order — larvae arriving dead, incorrect product, damaged packaging — we will always put it right. Email us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@syntects.co.uk with your order number and a photo.
Can I return Flytiliser?
Unopened bags of Flytiliser can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The item must be in its original unopened condition. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item was sent in error or arrived damaged.

My order hasn’t arrived — what do I do?
If your order hasn’t arrived within 3 business days of your dispatch notification, please email us at hello@syntects.co.uk with your order number. We’ll investigate with our courier and resolve it promptly.
I received the wrong item
If you received an incorrect product, email us straight away at hello@syntects.co.uk with your order number and a photo. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Subscription delivery
How does subscription delivery work?
Once you set up a subscription, we automatically dispatch your order on your chosen frequency — weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You’ll receive a dispatch notification each time. Subscription delivery is always free.
Can I change my delivery frequency?
Yes — you can change your frequency, pause, skip a delivery or cancel at any time through your account page. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes — update your delivery address in your account settings before your next scheduled dispatch. If you need to change an address urgently for an order already being processed, email us at hello@syntects.co.uk as soon as possible.
